Business Funding & Sales
From a truthful opening to a defensible close: learn to distinguish products, model merchant cash flow, disclose cost and recognize when not to sell.
U.S. educational baseline, not individualized financial, legal or tax advice. State-specific rules, product classification and provider requirements vary. All merchants, scripts and numeric examples are fictional. Never enter real merchant/client names, account details, credit reports or other sensitive data. This course does not determine eligibility, compliance or suitability for an actual transaction.
A substantive first course, not a finished expert qualification
10 authored levels · 20 authored units · multiple lessons per unit · 100 interactive topics. Difficulty moves from permission and discovery to product analysis, numerical comparisons, underwriting and multi-constraint cases. The advanced units practice integration; completing them does not establish expert mastery.
80 additional units are needed to reach the requested minimum of 100 units in this department. They are not authored or published. Future depth still needed includes jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction compliance, full credit memoranda, complex multi-period models, supervised call assessment and expanded industry cases. There are no placeholder lessons disguised as advanced content.
What you will practice
- Opening calls, discovery, permission and honest conversational pitches.
- MCAs, business LOCs, HELOC boundaries, credit repair, consolidation, reverse-consolidation marketing, conventional/term and SBA loans, equipment and invoice financing.
- Net proceeds, fees, total remittance, factor versus APR, calendars, reconciliation and cash-flow stress.
- Underwriting records, privacy, guarantees, UCC interests, stacking restrictions, independent review and informed closes.
- “Send information,” “rate too high,” “already have advances,” “not interested” and “my accountant must review.”
Lessons 1–50 each have an objective, specific explanation, worked example, your written response, an authored model, two self-review criteria and a branching merchant check. Level 6 lessons (51–60) add longer explanations, a second worked case, application tasks with model responses, and cited readings. No AI grades your writing. Practice text is not saved; completion and resume are browser-local. Use the single next arrow to save and continue.
A clear route, built for real understanding
Your guided study path
Move through sections → levels → units → lessons. Each lesson is deliberately longer than a drill: it explains the idea, works through an example, gives you optional retrieval practice, and then saves your reading. Unit quizzes and level assessments come after the teaching—not every two minutes, because we are building knowledge, not training a very anxious button-pusher.
Your progress path
Units, one crown at a time
Each unit is five lessons. Read every lesson in a unit and it earns a crown. The next unit opens when you reach it, so the path always shows exactly where you are.

Expanded instructional sections: 50 / 100 published course lessons. Original explanations elsewhere remain available but are not counted as expanded. Earlier assessment banks reuse lesson questions; appended course levels have separately authored application questions and longer cumulative tests. Extended lessons and book guides retain separate reading sequences; their own multi-unit assessment maps are not yet authored.
Published now: 20 of 100 requested core units. These are grouped into 10 published core levels, not the full requested curriculum or a professional qualification. The remaining units are not published, not hidden behind a paywall or presented as completed work.
