Put Your Melody Into a Song

Record or draw MIDI notes, then place a pattern in the Playlist.

MIDI notes are instructions, not sound waves. You can play them on your keyboard or draw them in Piano Roll. Once you have a small pattern, copy it into the Playlist to make a beginning, middle, and ending.

Three tiny steps

  1. Load a gentle instrument such as FLEX.
  2. Record or draw C D E D C in Piano Roll.
  3. Place the pattern in the Playlist three times, leaving space before the final repeat.
